1. Who we are

Lastribe is operated by EnableUnion SASU, a French simplified joint-stock company registered in Thionville, France. The mobile app's package identifier is eu.enableunion.lastribe. Full company identification is in our Mentions légales.

This page describes how to delete part of your data without closing your Lastribe account. If you want to delete your entire account, see /legal/delete-account instead.

2. What you can delete yourself, in-app

You can remove the following directly from the Lastribe mobile app without contacting us:

  • Inventory items — Profile → Inventory → swipe to delete any item
  • Event participations and evidence (photos, videos, GPS) — Events → tap event → Remove my participation
  • Course progress — Academy → tap course → Reset progress
  • Profile photo — Profile → Edit profile → remove photo
  • Date of birth display — Profile → Privacy → hide DOB (we keep the value for age verification but never show it to others)
  • Tribe memberships — Tribe → tap Tribe → Leave Tribe (you are removed from the member list and DMs; your past messages are anonymized for other members)
  • Direct messages you sent — Messages → long-press → Delete (deletes for you and the recipient)
  • Panic Mode voice recordings — Panic Mode → History → tap recording → Delete
  • Location history — Profile → Privacy → Location → Clear history
  • Push notification token — Profile → Settings → Notifications → toggle off (the device token is revoked within 24h)

3. What you can withdraw consent for

These features process data on the basis of your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time from Profile → Settings → Privacy & Consent:

  • Analytics (PostHog) — turning this off stops new event collection. Past anonymized aggregates remain.
  • Crash reports (Sentry) — turning this off stops new crash submissions.
  • Push notifications — turning off all categories disables the push token entirely.
  • Marketing emails — Profile → Settings → Email Preferences (or one-click unsubscribe at the bottom of any marketing email).
  • Optional location features — Profile → Privacy → Location precision: Approximate / Precise / Off.

Withdrawing consent does not delete data already collected — it stops new collection. To delete already-collected analytics or crash data, email privacy@lastribe.eu with the specific dataset and time window.

4. How to request partial deletion by email

If a specific dataset is not removable from the in-app surfaces above, or you cannot access the app, email privacy@lastribe.eu from the email address registered to your account, with the subject line:

Partial data deletion — [your account email]

In the body, describe what you want deleted. Useful examples:

  • "Please delete all my event evidence photos from 2026-01-01 to 2026-03-31."
  • "Please delete all my Risk Radar comments and votes."
  • "Please delete all my PostHog analytics events and Sentry crash logs tied to my account."
  • "Please anonymize the messages I authored in Tribe 'EXAMPLE'."

We respond within 30 days, as required by GDPR Article 17. You can use dsa@lastribe.eu instead if the request also concerns DSA / content moderation matters.

You do not need to give a reason. We may ask for additional information only to verify your identity.

5. What cannot be deleted partially

Some records are kept even on partial-deletion requests, because removing them would break legal obligations or other users' rights:

  • Payment & subscription records — retained 10 years (Code de Commerce art. L123-22)
  • Tax invoices — retained 10 years (Code général des impôts art. 102 B)
  • DSA notice-and-action records — retained 6 months after closure (DSA art. 17)
  • Account identity essentials (email, name, date of birth) — cannot be deleted while the account is open, but you can update them. If you want them deleted, see /legal/delete-account.
  • Other users' messages in your conversations — we do not delete messages other users authored.

6. Confirmation

You will receive an email confirmation when your partial-deletion request is registered, and a second confirmation when it completes.
